Set in the quiet seaside town of North Berwick on Scotland's beautiful East Coast, the Macdonald Marine Hotel & Spa offers a quiet location for meetings, only 30 minutes from Edinburgh. Our unique, self-contained Conference Centre, with its own reception and bar area, can play host to meetings and events for up to 300 people. All of the hotel's meeting rooms and function suites are equipped to the Meeting@Macdonald standard and benefit from natural daylight and air-conditioning.

The Bass Rock Suite 1 + 2
Naturally lit and stylishly decorated in modern neutral tones, the Macdonald Marine Hotel & Spa's spacious Bass Rock Suite functions as the hotel’s ballroom and can accommodate a wide range of events. Host a presentation for up to 300 guests or hold a boardroom meeting for up to 60. This flexible room can also be partitioned into two soundproofed separate spaces, each able to host events for up to 150 delegates. During a breakout, choose from the bar area and the private balcony, or visit the walled garden.

The Redan Suite
Spacious and light-filled, the Redan Suite is located in the Macdonald Marine Hotel & Spa’s self-contained Conference Centre. Perfect for training sessions for up to 40 participants, meetings for up to 30 guests and presentations for up to 60. During your breakout, make the most of this room’s with a barbecue on the terrace. This elegant room can also be used for private dinners.
