2. The Guidelines
2.1 The company will operate the scheme in accordance with the guidelines.
2.2 The company may at any time revise the detail of the guidelines as it sees fit. In particular the company may vary the precise number of points to be awarded for any particular spend, may vary the minimum spend, may vary the nature of the benefits to be awarded for any particular number of points and may vary which premises comprise the participating premises. However, for as long as it operates the scheme, the guidelines will provide that the number of points awarded will increase as the spend exceeds the minimum spend; that points can be exchanged for a voucher and that a voucher can be exchanged for benefits. The company may discontinue the scheme at any time but will give members at least three months notice before it does so.
2.3 The guidelines may provide for different categories of member and the scheme may be applied differently to each. The guidelines may also separate the participating premises into classes, by reference to the number of points required for short breaks to be taken there, and may detail the number of points required for different types of health and beauty services. The guidelines may also make specific provision for corporate membership.
2.4 The guidelines may specify a minimum spend below which no points will be awarded.
2.5 A member may request details of the guidelines by writing to the company or by telephoning 0845 605 2244.
3. Points
3.1 A member who presents his card for swiping at the time of making a spend of more than the minimum spend at participating premises will be awarded points calculated in accordance with the guidelines. No more than 450 points will be awarded for any one spend.
3.2 The company will send a statement to each member twice a year detailing how many points the member has accumulated, although no statement will be sent where the member has not accumulated any points during the immediately preceding six months. A member may also find out how many points he/she has accumulated by telephoning 0845 605 2244.
3.3 If there has not been a transaction on your membership (Points earned or redemptions made) for a period 24 consecutive months, your membership will of deemed to have lapsed. Once your membership has lapsed all points accrued against your membership will be cancelled.
4. Vouchers
4.1 A member may exchange points for a voucher by telephoning 0845 605 2244. The bearer will be the member or, if the member requests, another individual. The voucher is not transferable.
4.2 The voucher may specify the number of points for which it was exchanged.
5. Redemption and Benefits
5.1 A bearer may redeem a voucher for the benefits at participating premises.
5.2 The voucher may be redeemed for a short break only at those of the participating premises at which, the guidelines state, a short break is available for the number of points stated on the voucher. The bearer may redeem the voucher for one or two (depending on the terms of the voucher) nights accommodation including breakfast in a standard double or twin room for the bearer and one other individual but must first make a booking at least 48 hours prior to arrival by telephoning the company on 0845 605 2244 and quoting the number printed on the voucher. Where two nights are booked, they must be taken consecutively at the same participating premises.
5.3 The voucher may be redeemed for a health and beauty award only at those of the participating premises specified in the guidelines as offering leisure services and only for the services available in terms of the guidelines for the points specified on the voucher. Where the benefits comprise a dinner for two, the voucher may be redeemed for a table d’hote meal for two and the benefits do not include the cost of beverages. In either case, the bearer must first make a booking by telephoning the participating premises at which the voucher is to be re-deemed and quoting the number printed on it.
6. Restrictions and Limitations
6.1 There will be a limit placed on the services offered at participating premises against which a voucher may be redeemed, which will therefore be subject to availability. For example, there may be a limited number of rooms at any one hotel on any one date in respect of which vouchers can be redeemed. Some premises operated by the company may not be participating premises. The company therefore does not guarantee to be able offer the benefits for any particular premises or dates.
6.2 The benefits can only be taken at participating premises before the expiry date stated on a voucher. The expiry date will generally be a date 12 months following the issuing of the voucher.
