The Course
The championship golf course at Linden Hall is one of the largest in the area. 18-holes are spread across miles of the large private estate, ensuring a secluded and challenging game for all players.
Designed by respected course architect Jonathan Gaunt, the golf course represents a challenging test of skill for the expert golfer, while remaining an enjoyable course for the less experienced player.
Views across the North Sea or the surrounding woodlands dominate every hole and an abundance of wildlife, from birds of prey to deer can be spotted around the course. Several unique water and sand traps lie in wait for unlucky golfers at the 2nd, 5th, 13th,15th, 17th and 18th hole.

For pre- or post-round refreshments the dedicated golfer's lounge in the Linden Tree Brasserie is the perfect venue. Situated close across from the 18th hole and the Pro Shop, this friendly country pub serves delicious, warming food and refreshing drinks.

For a large golf event, private dining is available for up to 250 guests in the elegant Bigge Suite, or smaller events for up to 16 can be held in the naturally-lit conservatory.

Golf Tuition
The Golf Instruction here is delivered by PGA Advanced Professional Gordon Morrison. A qualified Professional since 1996 he has acted as a PGA Training Consultant since 2003. Currently studying for a Masters degree in Sports Psychology at Northumbria University he teaches Golfers from beginner level to aspiring Tour players.
Individual lessons:
We have a range of tuition options here at Linden Hall to meet your needs. The lessons start from £25 for a half hour lesson up to an option for 12 months help. A package can be tailored to suit your needs and budget.

One day Golf Schools
These schools are run monthly and include specialised Putting schools, chipping schools and a unique 'guaranteed to cure your slice school' which has been popular. The Putting school makes use of the SAM putting lab (see www.scienceandmotion.com ) which analyses your putting stroke and is one of the very few of these devices in the area. All schools are limited to 6 people, take 4 hours and cost £50 per person.

Residential Golf Schools
3 day schools are organised monthly with the exception of the winter months. The syllabus involves short game clinics and on course lessons along with some swing analysis. Please contact us for more details and dates.

Junior Golf Program
The concept of Long Term Athletic Development is incorporated into the program here along with traditional tuition. The players alternate between a Golf Athletic Development session one week and a Golf technique session the next.
