The Ceremony

Leeming House is licensed for Civil wedding ceremonies with a choice of rooms both formal and informal, depending on your number of guests. Alternatively, should your preference be for a traditional church service and to arrive at the hotel in style we would be delighted to provide information on our local churches and clergy.

The Reception

The Drawing rooms with views over the lake and fells, provide an elegant yet informal setting for drinks and canapés, following service or on those balmy sunny days (and we do indeed enjoy our fare share!) the French windows can be opened onto the terrace and your guests can enjoy that ready mix of sunshine, "bubbles" and excitement as they wonder through the gardens and perhaps on across the lawns towards the waters edge.

Wines and Champagne

We have an extensive list of wines from around the world which includes a selection of fine house wines and champagnes. A list of cocktails is also available.

The Wedding Breakfast

Our two elegant dining rooms, the choice of which is dependence upon your numbers of guests, have magnificent views of the lake and fells. Crisp white linen, fine bone china and glassware, and superb cuisine will provide a memorable dining experience.
The menu will be created especially for you, with your ideas in mind, composed and conducted by our Executive Head Chef, John Badley, Master Chef of Great Britain.

The Evening

Should you wish your celebrations to continue into and through the evening, there are many possibilities for 'skipping the light fantastic' and we would be delighted to discuss your ideas or to present some suggestions, possibly with some refreshments some fun finger food (fun finger food goes down exceedingly well) to keep you going into the early hours.

We would also be delighted to help or advise with all those important details and finishing touches, from arranging the florist, selecting and ordering the wedding cake, ensuring that the beautician and hairdresser are at hand. Not forgetting the photographer who knows so well those intimate and romantic nooks and settings and will capture the magic of the moment, so many little touches which will make it your day.
