Wedding Function Rooms

Whether your wedding is an intimate gathering or a stunning spectacle, Kilhey Court has the ideal function room for you. Wedding receptions and civil ceremonies can be held in any of our four wedding suites. The magnificent £4 million purpose-built Lakeside Suite in the Conference and Banqueting Centre can hold up to 300 guests for the most impressive of wedding events. The first-floor Wordsworth and Tennyson Suites offer space and style, holding up to 200 guests in total. For a simple reception, opt for the Victorian Garden Suite which opens onto the hotel gardens and patio.

  The Lakeside Suite

  Fully self-contained in Kilhey Court's exceptional purpose-built conference centre, the Lakeside Suite is the most impressive of our function rooms. Floor to ceiling windows give stunning views of our landscaped gardens and the lake beyond. The Lakeside Suite is a venue capable of hosting from 70 to 320 guests and is the perfect setting for a wedding on a grand scale. Breathtaking views of Worthington Lakes and the hotel's beautiful grounds make the Lakeside Suite a venue for sheer romance and style.

  The Tennyson Suite

  Lit naturally during the day and by chandelier at night, the Tennyson Suite on the first floor of the original house is a delightful venue for larger weddings. It has a piano which can be played to accompany your guests as they arrive for your wedding reception, plus its own private bar and separate lounge area. The Tennyson Suite can comfortably hold up to 150 guests, 100 at cabaret style tables, and can be combined with the neighbouring Wordsworth Suite to accommodate 50 more guests if required.

  The Victorian Garden Suite

  For a slice of Victorian style and elegance choose the Victorian Garden Suite at the Kilhey Court Hotel & Spa. Ideal for a civil ceremony celebration or smaller wedding it holds up to 50 guests, 40 in cabaret style seating. Throw open the doors and spill out onto the terrace for your wedding photographs. A white piano adds a little glamour to a room which captures much of the history of this 120-year-old building.

  The Laureate Restaurant

  A sensational dining experience is available at the Laureate Restaurant, a perfect venue for an idyllic wedding breakfast. Full of atmosphere and character, with a vaulted roof, stained glass windows and a water feature, the Laureate marries superb surroundings with exquisite food and drink. On three levels, including a mezzanine and balcony, the Laureate has been awarded a prestigious AA Rosette for the quality of its food and drink.
