Fully air conditioned and with magnificent views, the Technogym has everything you need for a satisfying workout. Watch TV or lose yourself in the views as you work out with weights on our running and rowing machines. Improve your core stability with a yoga ball in our aerobics studio or ask one of our staff to put a fitness programme together for you for extra motivation.

Swimming Pool
Dive into our inviting hotel lap pool for a refreshing and relaxing swim. Shaped and landscaped to give you a feeling of the luxury of a Mediterranean seafront, our heated pool will transport you to warmer climes whatever the weather or time of year. Relax poolside on a lounger, splash around with the kids or work on improving your swimming strokes. Two saunas, a steam room and solarium are also at your disposal while a Jacuzzi whirlpool spa completes a truly wet and wonderful world of enjoyment.

Child Policy
Under 16s are welcome to use the pool when accompanied by an adult until 7.30pm. Children under 14 are not permitted in the solarium, sauna, steam rooms or whirlpool.

Haigh Hall Golf Club is an EGU registered and Golfmark-accredited golf club that plays on the 18-hole Balcarres course - a public course managed by Wigan Leisure & Culture Trust, and located in Haigh Country Park. Membership of the club is open to men and women of all ages and abilities. The club has reserved tee times on Sundays for men, Saturdays for ladies and Wednesdays for the senior section of the club.

One of the newest golf courses in Lancashire, Charnock Richard was established in 1994. The 18-hole course winds its way through the small, scenic village of Charnock Richard. To the east of the course is the dramatic backdrop of Winter Hill. Set in 140 acres, the course, with its vast array of water hazards, provides a stern test for all levels of golfer.
