HAPPY FOOD AT MACDONALD HOTELS

Here at Macdonald Hotels we like to know where all our food has come from and the standard of living the animal has experienced. Therefore our aim is to ensure all our food has lead a 'happy life' before reaching your plate. As well as dealing with highly publicised welfare issues this results in the food you eat at the Opus 504 restaurant being of higher quality and flavour and at the end of the day, tastier. The following procedures have been put in place:

• All beef is Aberdeen Angus, bred and reared in Scotland
• Lamb is bred and in the Highlands and frozen quickly, resulting in very fesh food reaching you
• Smoked haddock, kippers and Salmon are from Loch Fyne
• Chicken and eggs are all free range, organic products
• Pork is sourced and produced to the British Quality standard Mark, outdoor reared, freedom food approved from farms around East Anglia
• All fruit and vegetables are organic
• All wines are supplied by Forth Wines, sourced from high quality local wine producers

Lunch - served 12.30 - 2pm
Dinner - 6pm - 9.30pm
