
West Links Golf Course
North Berwick’s west links golf course is one of the oldest and most scenic links courses in scotland offering a perfect blend of tradition and uniquely challenging golf. The west links course is a true links, which stretches west along the shores of the firth of forth providing stunning views over the Isle of May, and the islands of Fidra, Craigleith and Bass Rock.
The club, which is the 13th oldest in the world, is an Open qualifying venue with a succession of scenic and exciting holes, three of which are particularly well known.
"The Pit". The 13th. A short par 4 with a sunken green guarded by an intimidating stone wall.
"Perfection". With stunning views to Bass Rock, the 14th is so christened as it requires two perfect shots to hit the green.
"Redan". The 15th. Often imitated, this par 3 requires an approach shot over a vast hidden gully to the right front of the steeply sloping green.
The Professionals Shop
North Berwick Golf Club has one of Scotland’s largest on-course shops offering a comprehensive range of merchandise from clubs to apparel. Three qualified instructors are employed to provide advice, tuition and tips as required, and brand name clubs and trolleys are available to hire.
Further Facilities
The Clubhouse presents all golfers the opportunity to use the 60 seater dining room, offering informal and fine dining, a three course menu, fine wines and waitress service, together with stunning views over the West Links and the Firth of Forth.
Alternatively the lounge and bar offers a fully licensed bar and snack menu.
