St Andrews Golf Course
Situated on the St Andrews links, Rusacks offers access to five classic 18 hole courses to suit golfers of all abilities.
THE OLD COURSE
The oldest golf course in the world and one of the most famous, the "Home of Golf" is a classic links course which attracts golfers from around the globe and has hosted the Open Championship 26 times. Having over 112 bunkers including "Hell", "Strath" and the "Road Bunker", this course has evolved over 600 years and is a true test of championship golf.
The New Course
Opened in 1895 and laid out by the golfer Tom Morris, this course is considered by many as one of the best on the links. Using the natural features to create a classic "out and back" layout this is one of St Andrews best kept secrets.
The Jubilee Course
Widely regarded as the most testing on the links, this course was opened in 1897 and is situated between the New Course and the sea. Redesigned in 1988 to Championship standard the raised tees provide stunning links views but are also exposed to the coastal winds sweeping in from the sea.
The Eden Course
This is one of the most popular courses on the links and makes the most of the areas natural features. Designed and opened in 1914 by Harry S. Colt, and altered in 1989, this course capitalises on the character of the links but is slightly less testing than its older neighbours.
The Strathtyrum Course
This shorter course with its less testing layout is ideally suited to high handicap golfers and beginners. Opened in 1993, Strathtyrum is the first golf course to be constructed on the links for nearly 80 years.
