A day out in Glasgow

Confidence and style flows through Scotland's largest city, resurfacing from a long decline thanks to massive regeneration along the River Clyde. Kids are copiously catered for, from laser questing, karting and high speed river boating to museums dedicated to childhood, transport and football. At the centre of all things Glaswegian is the Clyde and on its banks sits a scientific marvel.

  • Glasgow Science Centre

Jam-packed with technological wonders, Glasgow Science Centre is the jewel in a city sparkling with attractions. Hands-on exhibits and science shows fill the central Science Mall plus a gift shop full of the latest gizmos and gadgets. The Planetarium transports you on a voyage to the stars and gives a view of the unpolluted night sky as it should be seen. Hit the heights with a 2 and a half minute journey up the Glasgow Tower with its commanding views of Glasgow's skyline. If that is not enough, then immerse yourself in the 3D IMAX cinema with a screen bigger than a five-a-side football pitch.
