Scottish National Party
26th October 2007
The Scottish National Party chose the newly redeveloped Macdonald Aviemore Highland Resort because of its reputation for top quality service and its complete meetings package.
The hotel was seen as the ideal location for the event due to its location in the heart of the stunning Cairngorms National Park. The 1000 strong delegates attending the conference were provided with luxurious accommodation in executive bedrooms and provided with all the latest technology required for a large conference. Such as the WiFi facilities provided in the hotel's 1100 seat auditorium, conference rooms and bedrooms.
This setting also offered the delegates the opportunity to participate in outdoor activities including the 18 hole par 72 championship golf course and relax in the hotel's extensive leisure and shopping facilities.
First Minister Alex Salmond and guests were treated to the delights of Macdonald's Highland hospitality including the hotel's inspired cuisine and fine wines based on quality Scottish produce.
