Dear Sir / Madam,

My wife booked a surprise birthday meal for me last Friday at the Compleat Angler and I feel compelled to provide you some feedback.

We have dined in many prestigious restaurants both abroad and in the UK but felt that Friday evening was on a par with the very best.

There's no doubting the beauty of your location on the Thames in Marlow and the quality of the food you provide.

What made our evening so special however was the service.

In particular we would like to thank Carols Barros for his attention to detail and command of the restaurant that evening.
