  Start the day well with a trip to the Vital Health and Wellbeing Club at the Macdonald Elmers Court Hotel & Resort. Clock up the miles on the treadmill, take on your friends at the tennis court, enjoy a contemplative swim in the hotel pool or detox in the sauna and steam room.

  Gym

  Have your fitness assessed by one of our trained instructors and begin an exercise programme tailored just for you. Catch up on your favourite TV shows while you work out on the latest cardiovascular and resistance equipment in our fully-equipped Technogym. Improve your core stability with a yoga ball or engage the help of a personal trainer (fees apply) for extra motivation. Join an aerobics class or tone-up with a body conditioning class.

  Swimming Pool

  Unwind with a leisurely dip before dinner or join an aqua aerobics class in the Vital Health and Wellbeing Club's 15-metre indoor heated pool. Alternatively, spend a fun afternoon in the hotel's 18-metre seasonal outdoor swimming pool, where loungers are available for topping up your tan.

  • Adults-only swimming times: Mon-Fri: 7am-9am and 8pm-9pm, Sat-Sun: 8pm-9pm

  *Guests must complete a health questionnaire prior to using the gym.

  Child Policy

  Under 16s are welcome to use the pool when accompanied by an adult. Children are not permitted in the gym, sauna or steam room. Under 16s are not permitted in the indoor pool during adults-only swimming times (please see above).

Located just a short walk away from the Macdonald Elmers Court Hotel & Resort, Walhampton Golf Course sits at the edge of the New Forest, bordered by the Solent. Spend a leisurely afternoon traversing the course's 9 holes and enjoy its challenging burrows and traps.
