Bowaters Restaurant
BOWATERS RESTAURANT, named after the Bowater family, owners of The Compleat Angler between 1932 and 1980, offers modern British heritage food in a contemporary but comfortable setting overlooking the River Thames. Natural pastel colours inspire calm and relaxation, whilst the flicker of candlelight and lights dancing on the river create the perfect atmosphere for that intimate dinner.
Bowaters operates under the auspices of Head Chef, Mark Constable who is returning to The Compleat Angler after a period of time working with award-winning chefs, and Howard Davis, Restaurant Manager of repute who has been at the hotel for many years and is committed to excellence.
Sample the comprehensive a la carte menu or the "special of the day"- perhaps with some fine English wines; dine outside in the summer months or enjoy a traditional afternoon tea. Bowaters Restaurant is definitely the perfect location.
