The Vine Trust

One donation has been the Group's support of The Vine Trust, a charity which supports a major street children project in Lima and Iquitos in Peru, and two medical ships - Amazon Hope 1 & 2 - that service communities along the Amazon and its tributaries. A key focus for the charity is the provision of sustainable solutions through the development of collaborative healthcare, education and enterprise strategies with local communities themselves. www.vinetrust.org

Funding not only helped support the organizations existing work, but also enabled them to bring their story to the small screen with a series, highlighting the challenges they face daily on the Amazon, recently screened on Scottish Television.
