What happens if the weather is poor?
We rarely have to cancel activities due to poor weather and will do what we can to reduce the effects of poor weather with shelters. If the activity session is cancelled due to extreme weather, then an alternative will be offered.

What should I wear?
Wear comfortable warm cloths, outdoor shoes such as walking boots or welly boots and waterproofs.

What happens if the activity is cancelled by the activity centre?
If for any reason we have to cancel an activity, we will offer an alternative activity or activity time. If this is not suitable, then a full refund will be provided.

Can I change my mind and do another activity once it is confirmed?
If your alternative request is available, then you may change your booking. If there is a difference in price then this will be accounted for.

Can I change the time of my activity once it is confirmed?
If your alternative request is available, then you may change your booking.

Are the instructors qualified?
Our instructors are trained and experienced in the activities they instruct and supervise on. Qualifications are provided through external independent assessment and certificates of qualification are available on request.

Are activities safe?
All activities in life have an element of risk. Any risk associated with the activities at Cardrona is controlled through:

• Using modern well serviced and maintained equipment
• Using experienced and qualified instructors
• Conducting thorough risk assessments for each activity
• Providing appropriate instruction and supervision
• Following set operating procedures for each activity

Guests also influence the safety of the activity and have a responsibility to:

• Listen carefully to the instruction
• Ask questions or seek clarification if not sure
• Do as they are asked when they are asked by the instructor
• Follow the procedure and guidelines provided

Can I book before I arrive?
Yes. Activity sessions can be fully booked so we recommend that you book prior to your arrival date. To encourage this, there is a 5% discount available for advance bookings.

Can I book when I check in?
Yes. When you check in, you may book your activity at the reception desk.

How do I pay?
The simplest way is to ask for the activity to be charged to your room account and settled on departure. Alternatively, you may pay separately with a credit card.
