Function Suites for Civil Ceremonies

The Botley Park Hotel has been granted approval by Hampshire County Council to be used as a venue for the solemnisation of marriages.

Below are the room hire charges for your civil ceremony. These figures do not include the Registrars fee.

Your civil marriage can be conducted in any of the following suites according to your number of guests.

Some Guidance Notes

When a provisional booking is made for a civil ceremony at the hotel, the bride and groom are requested to contact the Superintendent Registrar at the address below:

The superintendent and registrar must be present for your marriage to be official. It is therefore essential to make a booking with the registrars for their attendance at your marriage.

Notice of your marriage must be given to the Superintendent Registrar of the districts in which the couple live. This notice must be given in person by each member of the couple.

Please note that no food or drink may be consumed in the civil ceremony room, one hour before or one hour after the ceremony.

Function Suites for the Wedding Breakfast and Evening Reception

Please note that all weddings booked on a Saturday must include both a wedding breakfast and evening reception. Weddings booked on a Saturday between the months of April and October (inclusive) must adhere to the minimum numbers stated below. However minimum numbers for weddings booked between November and March (inclusive) are negotiable. Please speak to the wedding co-ordinator for further details.

Hampshire Grove Suite

Tastefully decorated with its own entrance, foyer and bar area. The Hampshire Grove Suite can cater for up to 120 for a wedding breakfast and 200 for an evening reception.

The Fair Oak Suite

Ready for use from July 2005, The Fair Oak Suite, complete with its own bar, private entrance and adjoining glass atrium, can cater for upto 260 for your wedding breakfast and upto 300 for the evening reception. With it's comtemporary decor and stylish surrounds, the Fair Oak Suite provides the ultimate in location for your wedding reception.

April - September ( Inclusive )

October - November ( Inclusive ) and December - Sundays and 'Twixmas' between 27th and 30th December andJanuary - March ( Inclusive ).

Please note that the December dates exclude Fridays and Saturdays in December, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day.
