Useful Information About Our Hotel

• • Check In/Out

    Check-in time at the Aviemore Highland Resort is 4pm for hotel rooms and 5pm for Lodges. However, guests are welcome to use the resort facilities from 2pm on the day of arrival. If you need to check in early, please enquire at Reception (subject to availability, fees apply).

    We ask that you check out of your rooms by 11am on the day of departure. Guests may continue to enjoy the use of the resort facilities untill 5pm on the day of departure. We can offer late check-out on request, subject to availability (fees apply).

    Children are welcome throughout Macdonald Aviemore Highland Resort when accompanied by an adult. Cots and highchairs can be provided on request and special children's menus are available. We offer inter-connecting rooms subject to availability.

• • Cancellation Policy

    To avoid unnecessary cancellation fees, if you need to cancel your booking at Macdonald Aviemore Highland Resort, please let us know before 12pm on your day of arrival. For group bookings, please give us a minimum of 72 hours' notice. After these times fees will apply.

    Your safety, security and comfort are our priority at Macdonald Aviemore Highland Resort. Security cameras operate throughout the hotels and car parks, and our Reception desk is staffed 24 hours a day. Each bedroom door is fitted with a double lock.

    There are free parking spaces available. Cars are left at owners' risk.

We actively minimise waste through the recovery and recycling of materials, effective energy efficiency measures, a comprehensive pollution prevention policy and responsible use of transport; and we consistently review our standards in alignment with environmental guidelines.

    Macdonald Aviemore Highland Resort offers accessible rooms and 15 accessible parking spaces. We also have Braille lift buttons, visible and audible smoke alarms and panic alarms in some rooms. Guide dogs are welcome.
