Usage Ideas

Our facilities can be used for anything from Boxing to Ballet. Many of our spaces are named after birds of prey or scenic places in and around the area. We like to think that you too can 'think outside the box' when it comes to conferencing and corporate events. Our creative team are always willing to help you come up with innovative ideas and support you in delivering them.

The Osprey Arena
The 1,000 square metre Osprey Arena is a clear exhibition space that can be dressed to suit any occasion. Versitile in its presentation and flexible in its use the hall has curtaining which can block out the natural space, large doors to drive in any vehicle from a cherry picker to a lorry, a ceiling able to suspend a car from or altrnatively our light and flexibe staging can also be used to display a car. The Osprey Arena has its own entrance from the Conference Centre foyer and is flanked by serving areas concealed around the perimeter. the space can be used for gala dinners, product launches,concerts,sporting events, cultural activities, exhibitions, trade fairs or a mix of activities and presentations. The space can accommodate 1000 capacity, 750 dining and other layouts to meet your needs.

The Auditorium
This is a beautiful contemporary designed purpose built facility with full sound proofing, specially designed accoustics, and raked seating to make your listening and learning experience the best in Scotland. The seating is leather with attached tables for laptop and writing. The stage has a large screen which can be controlled from anywhere in the auditorium and the touch of a button on a tiny portable contol pad. The auditorium has 650 fixed seats but additional seating can be added on the periphery. It has ample space for wheelchair access and the room can be divided into two halves with the use of branding or screens. There is a production room to the back of the auditorium for use of your specialised equipment. The space can be used for a variety of different things for example theatre and shows, seminars, talks, films and concerts.

The Peregrine Suite
This function suite has magnificent views accross Monaldiath mountains and so even in day or evening the scenery surrounds you. The suite is designed with a Scottish theme and can host up to 450 for dining. With state of the art kitchen facilities adjacent to the suite, the food service is second to none. The room has a bar and is accessible by an elegant staircase or lift. The room can host gala dinners, seminars, coffee meetings, drinks receptions, weddings, functions and exhibitions.

Meeting Rooms
There are 8 meeting rooms on the one floor allowing break out spaces for larger functions. Alternatively these can house small meetings such as board meetings, committee meetings, away days, training sessions, workshops and presentations. There are flip charts, screens, general toolboxes and audio vsual equipment to hand together with an efficient concierge service to attend to your refreshment needs. Some of the rooms have partitioning to open up the adjoining spaces making full use of the space.
