The Academy Hotel is named as such as it hosts an exciting new national training facility. The aim of the Academy is to create a Centre of Excellence situated in the Highlands, which will provide world class training and development for all levels within hospitality, catering, leisure and tourism fields.

Students will have the opportunity to learn and work in a wide range of different stylesand individual operations on the resort. This will allow students to gain both national and international recognised qualifications, while acquiring real work skills.

The range of courses that will run at the Academy will include:

• SVQ Levels 2 and 3 in:
  - Accounting
  - Administration
  - Beauty Thereapy
  - Customer Care and Service
  - Food Preparation and Cooking
  - Food and Drink Service
• Food Hygiene at Foundation and Intermediate Levels
• Degree level course in:
  - Hospitality Management
  - International Resort Management
  - Golf Facilites Management

A further aim of the Academy is to be at the forefront of new educational and training developments. This will be achieved by the unique position that the Academy has, being part of business and the education sectors. The resort offers the opportunity for all round training in one location and will see exchanges of students from around the world, taking up the opportunity to further their careers here in Scotland.
