• • Check In/Out

    Check-in time at the Macdonald Portal Hotel is 2pm and we ask that you check out of your rooms by 11am on the day of departure. We can offer late check-out on request, subject to availability (fees may apply).

    Children are welcome throughout the Portal hotel when accompanied by an adult. Baby cots and essential supplies are available from housekeeping, children's menus and highchairs are supplied in our restaurants and kids' breakfasts and afternoon tea can be served on request. The pool offers dedicated family swimming times between 9am - 11am and 3pm - 6pm.

• • Cancellation Policy

    To avoid unnecessary cancellation fees, if you need to cancel your booking at the Macdonald Portal Hotel, Golf and Spa please give us a minimum of 24 hours' notice. After this time, fees will apply.

    Guide dogs are welcome at the Macdonald Portal Hotel.

    Your safety, security and comfort are our priority at the Macdonald Portal Hotel, Golf and Spa. Security cameras operate throughout the hotel and car park, there are safes in every guestroom and our Reception desk is staffed 24 hours a day.

    There are 120 free parking spaces available at the Macdonald Portal Hotel, Golf and Spa, 6 of which are fully accessible for disabled guests and visitors.
