The Macdonald Portal Hotel, Golf and Spa's 6 air conditioned meeting rooms and 2 conference suites benefit from natural daylight and are all equipped to the Meeting@Macdonald standard. Wireless internet access is available throughout our meeting rooms (fees apply).
Fresh thinking requires an inspirational meeting venue and the Macdonald Portal Hotel's octagonal Waterstone Suite with its views over the golf course, is just that. After the meeting is over, your clients can enjoy a swim, massage or round of golf followed by a delicious meal in our award-winning restaurant.
Waterstone Suite
The octagonal Waterstone Suite offers stained glass features and is an ideal vantage point for admiring the lovely views over the Portal Premier Golf Course. Its separate bar and reception area make it an ideal function room and meetings venue and it can comfortably hold up to 200 for a conference.

The Eton Suite is a naturally lit room suitable for smaller events and meetings. With views over the golf course it seats 65, making it ideal for AGMs, meetings and training seminars.

The self-contained Castle Suite has a separate bar and reception area with views over the Portal Championship Golf Course. Easily divided into 2 sizeable meeting rooms, it is ideal for conferences of up to 200 people, large meetings, banquets and corporate golf events.
