Warwick Castle
Fantastic day out for adults and families. Warwick Castle is one of the best examples of a medieval castle set in acres of grounds. It is open for visitors throughout the year. In addition to visiting the castle and learning about the history and architecture, you can also be entertained by the many attractions and activities in the grounds such as jousting and medieval fayres.
The Castle also hosts traditional medieval banquets, which are accompanied by entertainment, and is a popular venue for summer classical and pop concerts with open-air performances.
Blenheim Palace
The ancestral home to the Duke of Marlborough this stunning palace is situated on the edge of Woodstock and within 45 minutes drives from Stratford-upon-Avon.
Visit the main palace and view the architecture and antiques or walk around the beautiful grounds, maize garden and butterfly farm. Throughout the year there are regular shows and attractions
The Butterfly Farm
Only 2 minutes from the Hotel- the butterfly farm is a great attraction for adults and children alike. It is open all year round and is a great rainy day venue. In addition to its enormous range of butterflies, they also have an insect room, spider room and displays of fish and Iguana
Shakespeare's Birthplace
The home of William Shakespeare, this is the ultimate Shakespearian venue to visit whilst in Stratford-upon-Avon. In addition to the original houses with their architecture and historical detail there is also an educational tour explaining the history of his life.
