Le Bistrot Pierre Restaurant
An ideal venue for a pre-theatre dinner, lunch with friends, or somewhere to celebrate a special occasion, Le Bistrot Pierre buzzes with warmth and hospitality. Menus cater for meals at all times of day so in the morning dig into a hearty full English breakfast or try crepes with mascarpone and fresh berries. Enjoy a lunchtime daily special of homemade soup and moules frites from the menu prix fixe. Later, savour a pre-theatre Scottish pasture-fed pavé de steak and return after the performance for a delectable crème brûlée with coffee.

The Macdonald Swan's Nest Hotel's onsite bar is a warm and homely convivial hub, popular with guests and non-residents. Pull up a bar stool at the spectacular pewter bar and choose from 6 guest cask ales or one of 28 wines by the glass. Order a satisfying homemade dish from the menu or treat the family to a delicious Sunday lunch.
The Bear Free House & Kitchen
Settle into a corner of this welcoming hotel bar and take in views of the river, or watch the latest sporting match on one of the discreet TV screens, disguised as ornate picture frames. Tuck into haddock in real ale batter with chunky hand-cut chips and mushy peas, or wild mushroom risotto with pesto oil and parmesan, and finish with a decadent dessert from the specials board.
